What Is This About?
We place the greatest importance on comprehensive care before, during, and after pregnancy and want you to feel well cared for and well advised with us.
We carry out prenatal check-ups in a very personal atmosphere, as well as in accordance with current regulations, recommendations, and the latest scientific findings. Among other things, we have a state-of-the-art ultrasound device at our disposal.
In addition to the legally required ultrasound examinations, we offer further useful services for which costs are generally not covered by statutory health insurance.
The Standard
Under the legally established maternity guidelines (Mutterschaftsrichtlinien), you are entitled to regular care during pregnancy.
This includes a wide range of useful and necessary measures to monitor the health of both mother and unborn child.
Prenatal check-ups are initially carried out every 4 weeks, and every 2 weeks during the last two months. These include blood pressure measurements, weight checks, and various laboratory tests. During the course of the pregnancy, 3 ultrasound examinations are performed. From the 28th week of pregnancy, the baby’s heartbeat and uterine contractions are recorded using CTG (cardiotocography).
The Extras
In addition to the legally required ultrasound examinations, we offer further useful services in the area of ultrasound diagnostics.
Nuchal Translucency Measurement and Double Test
With the help of these ultrasound examinations, developmental abnormalities in the child can often be detected early, and further diagnostics or therapy can be initiated if necessary.
Baby Viewing
Many expectant parents would like an ultrasound examination at every gynecology appointment. For a small fee, we also offer this service in our practice.
A very special experience is also provided by the 3D/4D ultrasound examination: here you can see your baby three-dimensionally in real time.
