What Is Coaching?
Coaching is helping people help themselves. As a coach, I think in terms of solutions.
I support people in rediscovering their existing strengths and resources and using them successfully: from “wanting” to “doing”.
The initial consultation lasts approximately half an hour. Afterward, we can decide together whether we want to work together and what timeframe to plan for.
Examples
- Personal reorientation (self-assertion, delegating tasks, formulating and fulfilling needs, overcoming a separation)
- Professional reorientation (time management, promotion and job interview preparation, workplace conflicts)
- Coping with a stressful situation (dealing with illness, grief)
- Adopting a health-promoting lifestyle (smoking cessation, dietary changes and weight loss, regular exercise)

How Do I Work?
It always begins with a personal introductory conversation. Here we clarify the topic at hand, the goal, and the scope of the coaching.
Systemic Coaching
Methodologically, my focus is on systemic coaching.
This involves accompanying individuals or small groups with personal or professional questions. Systemic coaching particularly considers the context in which a client finds themselves, their relationships with other people and the social environment.
“Leading to health, accompanying through illness”
Illnesses represent a particular challenge in life.
Here, coaching can help to learn how to deal with these special burdens. My professional motto is: “Leading to health, accompanying through illness”. It is often helpful in these particular life situations to address questions that should be answered within a foreseeable timeframe and where no psychotherapeutic intervention is necessary or desired.
